Children living in the area are served by Lyon County Schools, which operates four institutions in Eddyville. In total, the district has an enrollment of around 956 and boasts a low student-to-teacher ratio of just 18:1. The district has also achieved a graduation rate of 95%, and a majority of students score well on both reading and mathematics exams.
